Summary
On January 21 the second reading of the Lisbon Treaty (Constitution) passed through Parliament, and any MP who voted for that Bill is walking on thin ice.
Among other things, the treaty will give the European Union a State Constitution. It also sets out the primacy of the laws of the new union over the laws of its member states (Declaration 27). It makes national parliaments subordinate to the new union.See the full content of this document
