A disabled woman died from an infected hip fracture nine weeks after she was allegedly pushed out of her wheelchair by her ex- partner on Christmas Day, an inquest was told yesterday.

Tracey Sharp, 44, had been in a violent nine-year relationship with Patrick Davis and had taken out a court order against him. Miss Sharp, who had suffered four strokes, admitted herself to the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske, on March 1, 2007 and died 11 days later from complications.
