Wind Claims Refuted

Summary


The British Wind Energy Association (BWEA) has responded to a recent critical radio programme and press reports with a refutation posted on its website. Below are some of its claims and my replies.

Claim: In 30 years of monitoring there have been no days when the wind has not blown throughout the UK. Reply: If there are a couple of turbines feebly turning on Shetland and nothing else from Scotland, Wales and England, what use is that?
