I am writing in response to your article and WMN Opinion column (August 14) concerning the Government's plans for a coastal access route around England, as outlined in the draft Marine Bill.

Once again there seems to be confusion between the rights of way network of footpaths, bridleways and byways and land that has been opened up under the CRoW, or Freedom to Roam, legislation.
