Woman Attacked Twice in One Night

Summary

Police are investigating after a woman was attacked twice in the same night in West Somerset. The 19-year-old victim was first set upon in Wellington, near the King's Arms pub, and robbed of her mobile phone. Police want to trace a man who raised the alarm in the pub. He had a beard and was wearing a beanie-style hat. The woman was taken back to her home in Hamilton Road, Taunton, but a short time later police were called back to the road, where she was found with a serious arm injury. She was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital for treatment. Anyone who has information about either incident is asked to call Taunton CID on 0845 456 7000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

CORONER'S officers in Bournemouth are trying to trace the family of Benjamin Flear, who died on November 4. It is thought his father, Michael, lives in Cornwall and his mother, Sherry lives in the Bournemouth area. The 37-year-old died at his home in Wimborne Road, Bournemouth. His death is not believed to be suspicious. Anyone who knows the parents should call Mike Humphries at the Bournemouth, Poole and East Dorset Coroner's Office on 01202 780879.
