Summary


It is often perceived that beer is a man's world. However, to say this is to neglect more than 50 per cent of the UK population. Despite the matter of "women and beer" being a sexy subject at strategy meetings at brewers up and down the country, most beer advertising is still firmly testosterone-fuelled and aimed squarely at men.

Brewers, however, recognise that if they could find the magic key to unlock the female market, they would have the potential to double their audience.
